At Het Spaans Kwartier we value your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we process when you contact us or visit our site, why we do so, how long we keep it and what rights you have.
2. What data we process
When you submit the contact form we store: · Name, e-mail address and (optionally) phone number · School, study program and subject (optional) · The content of your message · The specific room your enquiry is about, if applicable · IP address and browser information (user agent) — used solely for security and spam prevention We do not collect any sensitive data (health, financial, etc.).
3. Why we use this data
· To respond to your question or request (performance of a contract or steps leading up to one) · To prevent abuse of the form, such as spam and automated attacks (legitimate interest) · To comply with legal obligations where applicable
4. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiries for as long as they are relevant to your request, and in any case no longer than 24 months after the last interaction. You can always ask us to delete your data earlier.
5. Who we share data with
· Robust Vastgoed, our property manager, receives your enquiry so we can help you. · Our hosting provider stores the website and database securely. · Our site embeds third-party content: · Matterport (360° virtual tours) · OpenStreetMap / CARTO (map tiles) These third parties may process technical data (such as IP address) when their content is loaded on your screen. We do not share your contact details with them. We never sell your data.
6. Cookies
Our site only uses strictly necessary, functional cookies: · skw_locale — remembers your language choice (NL/EN). Expires after 1 year. · skw_cookie_consent — remembers that you have seen our cookie notice (stored locally in your browser). When you open a 360° tour or the map, the third parties involved (Matterport, OpenStreetMap/CARTO) may set technical cookies required for their service. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to: · access the data we hold about you · have inaccurate data corrected · have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten") · object to processing · data portability · lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be) Requests can be sent to info@hetspaanskwartier.be. We respond within 30 days.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Connections to our site use HTTPS.
